All about the SANCTUARY OF PACHACAMAC.

Visit the great oracle of Pachacamac, an imposing sanctuary built about 1800 years ago and worshiped by different cultures until the last days of the Inca apogee. According to many archaeologists and historians, the Sanctuary was the seat of the most important deity of Peru´s coast, a great center of pilgrimage attended by men from almost every corner of these lands to present their best offerings and consulted the oracle what awaited them for the future. Join us in this mysterious journey to the past and explore together their sacred temples and enclosures of adoration.

9:00 AM Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the sanctuary of Pachacamac
- During the trip you will visit the district of BARRANCO that allows us to appreciate its colorful streets that clearly denote the bohemian atmosphere of that area, where you will also find the famous bridge of sighs and the descent towards the Pacific Ocean.
- You will continue through the popular district of CHORRILLOS, where you will compare the great contrast of social classes in Lima, its beach and fishermen’s cove, Club Regatas, ranches and Republican mansions as well as the imposing Christ of the Pacific.
- Following the route you will find one of the most important green lungs in Lima, the Villa´s wetland, an important ecosystem and refuge of life where you can find some species of flora and a varied sample of fauna with resident and migratory species (it is estimated that they can reach up to 10 thousand birds).
- From there you will continue to the South Pan-American Highway until you finally reached the ARCHAEOLOGICAL SANCTUARY OF PACHACAMAC which means »Creator of the World» and which was the seat of the ancient pre-Inca cultures: Lima, Wari and Ischma as well as the Incas.
