PLAZA MAYOR where the foundation of the »City of the Kings» was declared in 1535 by the conquistador Francisco Pizarro and donates today the CATHEDRAL OF LIMA, PALACIO DE GOBIERNO Y MUNICIPALIDAD DE LIMA.

LIMA CATHEDRAL of s. XVII and today is a museum of religious art where the remains of the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro are kept.

You can also go up to the CAMPANARIO DEL CONVENTO DOMINICO of 46 mt. high to appreciate a better view of the historic city of Lima and surroundings.
