BEACHES OF MARCONA

South of Lima we find a sea paradise, with diverse rock formations, crystal clear water and abundant marine life.

Located in San Juan de Marcona, Province of Nasca Department of Ica, there is a group of beaches that will leave us amazed by a large number of stone figures that have originated at the whim of nature, where the famous Elephant of Marcona stands out and others such as the Noah’s Ark, the Turtle, the Pharaoh, Cathedrals, Arches, etc. You can also appreciate the large number of birds that fly together over the waters of its beach, many of these beaches are suitable for bathers and camping, its icy waters that help the blood circulation making its visitors relax to the fullest.

Among them we have the following beaches, being the most outstanding:

• Los Leones Beach

Recognized as one of the best beaches in Marcona, it has an asphalted road that makes the road easier, has ample space for camping, fishing and diving.

• Los Pingüinos Beach

This beach has natural pools formed by rocks, perfect for learning to swim, also in this silver you can practice fishing and diving.

• La Herradura Beach

Ideal for diving and fishing, in its rocks you can find molluscs and maricos.

• Las Loberas Beach

With its crystal clear waters and an ideal temperature for swimming it leaves its visitors very happy, it also has a free area for camping.

• EL Elefante Beach

Its large size and impressive realism of the rocky figure, becomes the most outstanding silver of all Marcona, at the top we can find an ideal vantage point to appreciate the wonderful figure.

• Acapulco Beach

This small beach offers a calm sea ideal for fishing and diving.

• Beautiful beach

Ideal for fishing, diving and camping, not only you can make bonfires and relax here, but also its sea is ideal for sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, flyboard and paddle.
